Vaccinations

Vaccinations enable your pet’s immune system to fend off viruses and bacteria before they can make your pet sick. Vaccination against rabies is extremely important as we not have epidemic conditions in our area. All mammals, including humans, are at risk to this disease. Dogs should also be vaccinated against distemper and parvovirus and may benefit from Kennel Cough, Lyme Disease and Leptospirosis vaccines.

Cats need to be vaccinated against a series of respiratory viruses and, if they go outside, feline leukemia, a deadly virus which, like the human AIDS virus, damages the body’s immune system.
